Pumpkins, taco soup, and chili greeted folks as friends and neighbors gathered together to celebrate the Last Of The Season (LOTS) at the Sumpter Valley Dredge. Lunch was provided by Friends of The Dredge volunteers. We invited passengers and photographers from the Sumpter Valley Railroad Fall Foliage Train to join us for lunch too! By all accounts, the food and conversation was great! Volunteers served 85 people this year. OPRD Park Rangers were on hand to give tours of the Dredge. Board President, Pat Lindrose, presented a certificate of appreciation on behalf of Friends Of The Dredge, to Sharon Leighty, for all the great work Sharon has done in securing grants for us this year! We would especially like to thank the OPRD Rangers and all the volunteers who worked on this year's LOTS Party! We'll see you next year when the 2012 season opens on May 1st!
