Powder River Correctional Facility Inmate Photos at the Dredge Sumpter, Oregon The Powder River Inmates contribute so much to Baker County.And......the to the Dredge and State Park Heritage Area too! Their hard work is never more evident than in the spring when the snow melts, leaving behind debris and trails in much need of maintenance. Just like clockwork, the inmates arrive to spruce up the trails and the park area just before the season gets under way. It has become common to see these Baker City Inmates performing work throughout the Sumpter Valley Gold Dredge State Park Heritage Area ~ and we appreciate their efforts! We are very grateful for their hard work making improvements and performing necessary maintenance throughout the entire State Park area. Results of the Inmates' hard work are quite visible at the Sumpter Gold Dredge and throughout our State Park!
