The Friends of The Dredge
Annual Meeting April 2nd, 2011
We would like to thank members and our friends from Sumpter for attending the 2011 Annual Meeting......
and thanks to everyone for bringing the great tasting food! We truly enjoyed the food and all the great conversation! Board President, Pat Lindrose, reported that we have received $45,000 in grants this past year, that will help pay for continued plans of restoring and preserving the Dredge. Dennis Bradley, OPRD Park Manager, spoke of Volunteers and how important they are to every State Park, and to our community as well. Miranda Krane, ORPD Park Ranger, gave us an excellent slideshow presentation of how nature affected the park this winter. We were also fortunate to have former Dredge worker Andy Dickinson and his wife join us. We were saddened by the report of former Dredge Worker Buck Blize who recently passed away. We would like to send our prayers and condolences to his family.
